We are thrilled to share that Tube Gallery has been selected as one of the three galleries to participate in the prestigious SWAB Art Fair in Barcelona. The fair will take place from October 3rd to October 6th, showcasing emerging talent and contemporary art.
This year, a committee of international art professionals chose only three galleries for this honor. The selection criteria focused on galleries that have been open for less than two years and have not yet participated in any international art fair, highlighting new and innovative spaces in the art world.

GALLERY BOOTH PROPOSAL
This gallery booth proposal showcases the works of two artists who critically examine the fast-paced contemporary society, overrun by advertising-saturated consumerism.
Jack Burton, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Arts, London, based in Brussels, Belgium, currently working as a studio assistant to Anselm Kiefer in France. His mixed media practice, incorporating photography, collage, and painting, is heavily influenced by pop, expressionism, abstract, and street art movements. Through contrasting visual stimuli, Burton’s works confront the relentless bombardment of advertisements and marketing that permeate modern life.
Mattia Guarnera-MacCarthy, a rising star in the contemporary art scene, brings a unique perspective shaped by his British, Italian, and Ghanaian heritage. Graduating from Camberwell University of Art, UAL, in 2022, Guarnera-MacCarthy’s art explores subtle moments amidst the chaos of modern image consumption. By translating photographic images into paintings, he creates a visual diary that captures the fleeting nature of contemporary existence.
