Jack Burton is a multidisciplinary artist whose works can be broadly categorized as paintings but are deeply infused with elements of photography and collage. Drawing from diverse influences such as pop art, expressionism, abstract art, and street art, Burton creates dynamic compositions that blend these media into a single image. Within his works, the mediums compete for attention, disrupting traditional perceptions and expectations.
His art is characterized by a spontaneous and dreamlike quality, with elements arranged as if emerging from his subconscious or an absurd, fragmented dream. Born in Barry, South Wales, in 1988, Burton holds a BA in Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Art and Design and graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts in London in 2017.
